These are useful for a few poses, and I wanted something similar for home practice. But I could not justify purchasing a foam brick, since these are actually made of plastic that is really nasty in terms of manufacturing. I don’t want to put my money towards that. Obviously the world does not need more plastic crap that will end up in a landfill.br /br /So I bought this one. It’s more substantial than a typical foam brick – slightly larger and heavier, without being unwieldy. I have small hands and I do not find it to be too large. As an added bonus, I find the surface of this block to be slightly less slippery than the foam blocks, always useful for when your hands get sweaty. br /br /I’m very happy with this purchase. /p
